HI everyone –

Hi Kirsten here I am the current secretary and I have been meaning to send bits and pieces of information to various cross sections of the club. Some might not apply to some of you – I am covering my bases and sending it to all that I can reach. As the sport and club are continuing to grow our systems have to adapt. We will get there eventually right now I am fully aware there are a few hiccups in the system.
Ok from the top in no particular order:

AUCKLAND SECONDARY SCHOOLS COMPETITION @ West Edge
WHEN: Saturday 9th of April. Starts 9am until approx 1.30pm.
COST: Usual West Edge Gym Entry Fee (plus gear hire fee if needed)
REGISTRATION: on the day, before 9am
FORMAT:

– Different to nationals/regional
– Top Rope only
– 15 climbs ranging from easy to hard
– ‘Check points’ distributed along the climb (once you get past a check point you earn corresponding points)
– One finals climb for the top climbers from each age group

You do NOT need to be selected by your school or ASC, Just show up on the day if you are interested.

CNZ NATIONAL SERIES 1st ROUND

Please monitor the CNZ website for any changes to start times etc. We are hoping to receive the 2016 Licence forms from CNZ before the event for you to complete before the event.

If you are unsure if your Daughter/Son should participate in the National Series please check in with Carmilla BEFORE you register your child.

AUCKLAND SPORTS CLIMBING FUNDRAISING EVENT
Lucky for all off us there is only one of those? and its during the Auckland leg of the National series. This will be the last weekend in July 30/31 st.
Tracey will be in touch closer to the time to sort out details.

We will need contributions of hot meals, baking and helpers on the ground.  Please earmark that date in your calendar for now that would be awesome.
